Kann man bei Steam für knapp 9 Euro kaufen. Den Goat-Simulator habe ich mir ja gekauft… aber das da? Nein.

Ich habe doch schon einige Zeit mit dem Goat Simulator verschwendetverbracht und mich köstlich amüsiert. Es gab ja auch schon ein kostenloses Update mit neuem Level. Dort konnte man auch Fahrrad fahren und Wänden entlang rennen.
Jetzt (also übermorgen) kommt ein neues (wieder kostenloses) Update, welches ein Online Multiplayer Spiel freischaltet. YEAH! Die Features sind:

• Five different classes: Warrior, Rouge, Magician, Hunter and Microwave
• Complete dozens of quests, level up a hundred times and play five different classes that’s a ton of content you do the math, we all went to high-school well I didn’t I was too busy huffing paint behind the cafeteria
• Level cap is 101, 1 level higher than you-know-what
• Prolly not tons of content tho, but don’t hate be cool
• Stay a while and listen to Dumblebore the Grey in Twistram
• Faction warfare between goats and sheep
• MMO simulation so good you’ll think it’s real
• There are even elves and dwarves like in that movie

Auf cursors.io spielt man einen Mauszeiger. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Zusammenspiel mit anderen Spielern ist zwingend erforderlich um die (meisten) Levels zu schaffen. Da ist man entweder der Soziale und hilft allen anderen oder man schaut, dass man selbst auch mal weiterkommt. Nettes Online-Social-Experiment.

Heute war in Seoul das Finale der League Of Legends Championship 2014. Ich kenne das Spiel nicht, muss aber dort wohl ziemlich ein Hype sein wenn man das Final in einem ausverkauften Stadion spielt.
Auch wenn ich vom ganzen überhaupt keine Ahnung habe und es auch nicht verfolgt habe, finde ich es irgendwie schon noch cool, dass man Heutzutage mit Computerspielen auf einer Bühne stehen kann und im ausverkauften Stadion zocken kann. Würde ich jetzt also auch noch machen. Im Goat Simulator krieg ich schon einige Punkte hin.
Das Siegerteam heisst übrigens “Samsung White” (ist ja klar, wer der Sponsor ist) und sieht so aus:

Die Spiele kann man sich auch anschauen und sind kommentiert wie Fussballspiele und so. Inklusive Emotionen…

Auf smartypins.withgoogle.com kann man sich gut seine Zeit vertreiben. Und dazu sein Wissen testen.
Allerdings bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob das Game wirklich was taugt. Ich fliege da immer schon recht früh raus weil der Google meint meine Antwort sei falsch. Dabei habe ich ja immer Recht!

Schon über 1.5 Stunden einfach so als Ziege verbracht… und noch keine Sekunde davon bereut.

Er ist jetzt erschienen und ich habe schon viel zu viel Zeit damit verbracht (und werde es in Zukunft auch noch tun). Der Goat Simulator.

1 Tag nach dem erscheinen gab es im Steam Workshop bereits die ersten Mods. Ich denke da wird noch grosses kommen….

Begonnen hat alles mit dem Video “Goat Simulator 1st Alpha Gameplay”. Dort haben die CoffeStainStudios klar kommentiert, dies sei kein wirkliches Game sondern einfach nur ein bisschen Zeitvertrieb der Entwickler gewesen. Das Video:

Needless to say: Das Internet fuhr so drauf ab, dass die Studios das jetzt doch als Game umsetzen. Auf goat-simulator.com kann man das Ding vorbestellen. Unterdessen gibt es auch ein neues Video, welches das Lick-Feature der Ziege zeigt. This gets more and more awesomer!

Goat Simulator is a small, broken and stupid game. I t was made in a couple of weeks so don’t expect a game in the size and scope of GTA with goats. In fact, you’re better off not expecting anything at all actually. To be completely honest, it would be best if you’d spend your $10 on a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe a real-life goat.
